Every group has one person who knows who played Gabbar, and one who is sure they know. Sawaal Jawaab settles it. It is a fast, live quiz game with friends: everyone gets the same question on their own phone, four options, 15 seconds, and a right answer scores more the faster you tap.
Pick Bollywood, Cricket, India GK, Khana or a Mix of all four. A round is 10 or 15 questions and takes about four minutes, so it fits between dinner and dessert. Up to 50 people can play in one room, which makes it a good quiz for a class group, an office team call or a family function.
Kya chahiye: Just phones. The app asks, times and scores.
Rules: kaise khelte hain
Choose the quiz
The host sets three things in the lobby:
- Category: Mix, Bollywood, Cricket, India GK or Khana.
- Level: Sab, Aasaan, Mast or Mushkil. With Sab, a round mixes easy, medium and hard questions.
- Number of questions: 10 or 15.
Answer fast
After a 3-second get-ready, each question shows with four options and a 15-second timer. Your first tap is your answer and it locks straight away, so no changing your mind.
The options are in a different order on every phone. Shouting "B!" across the room helps nobody.
The reveal
When time runs out, or once everyone has answered, the right answer shows for 5 seconds. You see how many people picked each option, who got it, and a short fun fact. The host can tap Aage to move on sooner.
Result
After the last question comes the round leaderboard, with a shout-out for the fastest correct answer. Questions you have already seen in the room are held back, so the next round feels fresh.
Points kaise milte hain
A right answer is worth 100 points plus a speed bonus of up to 50, shrinking evenly as the timer runs down. Answer the moment the question appears and you get close to 150; answer at the last second and you get about 100. Wrong or no answer is 0. Ties stay as ties, and scores carry across games in the room. Points only, no prizes.
Jeetne ke tips
- Read all four options before you tap. The first tap locks.
- Speed matters, but a wrong fast answer is still 0.
- Pick your group's strength: a cricket-mad room will enjoy Cricket more than Mix.
- Start on Aasaan with family, then turn it up to Mushkil for the know-it-alls.
Sawaal Jawaab online kaise khelein
Make a room, pick Sawaal Jawaab and share the link on WhatsApp, or show the QR code to people in the same room. Friends without the app join from the browser link with just a name and a colour, and up to 50 can play. In Saath mode you sit together and groan out loud at the reveal. In Door mode, use the voice chat inside the game, with mic and speaker buttons. Nothing is recorded. If someone's internet drops, their seat is held. It's free with no ads.
