Nobody knows exactly how many Test matches Sachin played, or how far Mumbai is from Delhi. But everybody has an andaaza. Andaaza Lagao is a guess the number game where every answer is a number, and the closest guess wins.
That makes it the one quiz where the topper doesn't always win. A wild guess can land closer than a careful one, and the reveal, where every guess drops onto a number line and the real answer slides in, gets the loudest reaction of the night. Eight questions, about four minutes, and anyone can play.

Rules: kaise khelte hain
Pick a category
The host picks one in the lobby: Mix, Cricket, Bollywood, India or Khana-Peena. A round is 8 questions.
Type your number
Each question shows with its unit (years, runs, km and so on) and a 20-second timer. Type your guess on the keypad. You can change it until you tap Lock or time runs out, and an unlocked number still counts when time ends.
Silly numbers far outside a sensible range are blocked, but the range never gives the answer away. Nobody can see anyone else's number until the reveal, only who has answered.
The reveal
The question ends early once everyone has locked. Then, for 7 seconds, every guess appears on a number line with names, the real answer slides in, and the source is shown. The host can move on sooner.
How closest is measured
For most questions, closest simply means the smallest difference. For huge numbers like populations or box office, the app compares by ratio instead, so being off by half counts the same whether the answer is a thousand or a crore.
Points kaise milte hain
Guesses are ranked by distance from the answer. Closest gets 100, second gets 70 and third gets 50. Anyone else within 25% of the answer gets 20. Hit the answer exactly and you get 50 more on top. No answer scores 0. Equal distances share a rank, so two players tied for closest both get 100 and the next one is third. Scores carry across games in the room.

- Think in anchors: if you know one year or distance, work from it.
- Don't copy the room. Everyone guessing the same makes it a coin toss.
- Lock early only if you are sure; otherwise use the full 20 seconds.
