This is Two Truths and a Lie for Indian groups. Everyone writes three short lines about themselves, two true and one made up, and marks the lie. Then each player's set comes up in turn, everyone else votes on which line is the jhooth, and the writer gets to defend themselves out loud. You score for catching lies and for fooling people with yours.
One round of Jhooth ya Sach takes about 6 minutes for 3 to 10 players. It is a great first game with a new group, and a dangerous one with old friends.

Rules: kaise khelte hain
Write three lines
Everyone gets 120 seconds to write three lines about themselves, each 3 to 80 characters, and tap the one that is the jhooth. Lines cannot repeat. You can edit until you tap Done, and the writing ends early when everyone is Done.

Only complete sets play
When time runs out, only sets with three lines and a marked lie go in. Anyone who did not finish skips their turn. If fewer than 2 sets are complete, the round ends with no points.
Each set, one by one
Sets come up in a shuffled order, and the three lines of each set are shuffled too, so the lie is not always in the same place. The screen says whose turn it is for 4 seconds, then shows their lines.
Vote for the jhooth
Everyone except the writer has 30 seconds to tap the line they think is the lie and Lock. The writer can talk and defend their lines. You see who has locked, never what they picked. The turn ends early when every voter has locked.
The reveal
For 6 seconds the lie is shown, with the vote count on each line and the points. Anyone can tap Aage and the host can move everyone along. After the last set, the result shows the totals.
Safe writing
A filter blocks abuse, slurs and sexual words, plus phone numbers, links and handles, and simply says Ye line nahi chalegi. The host can remove any player's set before it is revealed.
Points kaise milte hain
If you vote for the actual lie, you get 1 point. As the writer, you get 1 point for each voter who picked a wrong line. If at least one person voted and nobody caught your lie, you get 1 bonus point as Pakka jhootha. A missing vote gives the writer nothing, so people who are away do not add to anyone's score.
Jeetne ke tips
- Make the lie boring and one of the truths wild. People expect the opposite.
- Use small, specific details in all three lines, so none of them stands out.
- When defending, sound equally sure about every line.
- Voters, think about what the writer would never do, not what sounds unlikely.
- Write from real life: food, travel, school, family trips. Those lines are the hardest to check.
Ghar wale rules aur variants
At home one person says three things and everyone shouts their guess. Mandli has everyone write at the same time, then votes in secret, so the loudest person does not decide for the room.
